Richard is the Founder of Detego Advisors. This venture was created in response to the continued escalating cost and complexity facing businesses wanting to provide insurance to their employees. It was also a personal need, as the founder of Lux Mentis, Inc, a strategic investment vehicle that owns several businesses, Richard wanted to provide the best healthcare access to his employees.
Prior to working in the entrepreneurial space, Mr. Haldeman spent more than 20 years as a healthcare executive and consultant, working C-Suite roles including CEO of large, complex health delivery systems. His experience includes a unique understanding of the health insurance industry and the leveraging of that knowledge to provide access to quality and cost-effective systems of care.
Mr. Haldeman holds an MBA from Fordham University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
